A Digital Platform for Lyon Béton’s Material-Driven Vision
Supporting a furniture brand with a strong identity in concrete, design and craftsmanship
Lyon Béton is a French studio specialising in furniture, accessories and art objects in concrete. They emphasise a “design that is unseen with a taste of déjà-vu”.
Our task at SEVAA® STUDIO was to create a website that:
Clearly communicates the brand’s design aesthetic and craft of concrete furniture and accessories
Allows the user to explore product categories, view collections and shop seamlessly
Reflects the premium, curated nature of the brand while remaining usable and accessible
Design Approach: Material-Rich Storytelling, Structured Experience
From the homepage onward we structured the website so that each section brings users closer to understanding the brand’s identity (material, design, collection) and product offering. For example:
A bold hero section introducing Lyon Béton’s philosophy and core material focus
A collections section where the concrete material and design story is narrated (e.g., “Tables”, “Seats”, “Accessories”)
Product pages that showcase detail, imagery and context of how the furniture is made and used
Navigation that guides users: brand story → collections → product → purchase or inquiry
In terms of visual & UX design: we chose a minimal, modern layout with generous whitespace, strong typography, and high-quality photography of concrete furniture to emphasise material texture and craft. Technical/SEO aspects included responsive design (for browsing on both desktop and mobile), fast load times, meaningful page structure and appropriately targeted keywords (e.g., “concrete furniture”, “designer concrete table”, “French design studio”).
Result: A Polished Online Presence that Reflects Design & Craft
The end result is a website that aligns with Lyon Béton’s premium brand positioning: the material (concrete), the design aesthetic (bold, minimal, crafted), and the product offering (tables, seats, accessories) are all clearly presented in an intuitive digital experience. Visitors can easily explore collections, understand the design story and make purchase decisions.
